Program
The Chicago Saxophone Institute at the Chicago College of Performing Arts is designed to give advanced high school through collegiate saxophonists a week to submerge themselves in the world of classical saxophone. This program provides students with an inviting yet challenging environment where they will learn classical performance techniques led by Dr. J. Michael Weiss-Holmes, Artist-Teacher of Saxophone at CCPA. Students in the Chicago Saxophone Institute will participate in many performance and learning experiences including private lessons, masterclasses/seminars, saxophone quartet, saxophone choir, and a daily jazz clinic designed specifically for classical performers.
